Methodology and data sources
Onviure compares Catalonia's 43 comarques using traceable official sources and documented derivations: housing prices, climate, safety, air quality, income and more. This page documents where every figure comes from, which period it covers, and how many comarques have a value.
Traceable data and visible gaps
Every figure comes from an identifiable source: official statistics, monitoring stations, weather reanalysis, election results or actual property listings. We do not fill gaps with estimated or invented values.
When a data point doesn't exist for a comarca, we show nothing — rather than estimating it. Estimated records are excluded at the source, before they can reach the site.
- Air quality: 14 comarques have no monitoring station — we show no value for them.
- Safety: 3 comarques have no data published by the Mossos d'Esquadra — we show no value for them.
- Connectivity: the old dataset was a sample and remains excluded from the site; it will not be published until the Ministry's reusable municipal download can be imported and validated.
